Selective Tears of Joy

As I was watching the election news last night I saw Jesse Jackson and Oprah and a whole bunch of other black Americans crying and weeping and smiling...I got to wondering something.

Where were the tears of joy when Clarence Thomas was nominated and achieved the status of the 1st African American Supreme Court Justice...???

Where were the tears of jubilation for Colin Powell when he was selected as the 1st African American Secretary of State...???

or Condi Rice as the 1st African American WOMAN National Security Adviser and then moved into the 1st African American WOMAN Secretary of State?

The hypocrisy of this all is the selective joy. So as long as the black man or women stay on the reservation by keeping the same ideologies as the Dems they are ok, but if they disagree with the Left, they are traitors and are treated as such...hhmmm...selective joy indeed.

and I want to send out a big KUDOS to the Conservative Republican movement who was the majority of the officials in the House and Senate in 1966 that pushed through the Civil Rights Bill movement despite the Kennedy's and Al Gore Sr and Robert Bird (all democrats) who fought it.

I want to give a shout out to the Conservative Republican President George H. Bush who was responsible for choosing Clarence Thomas, and to George W. Bush who chose Colin and Condi.

And finally to the Republican party and President who made slavery a part of the Civil War Agenda.

So what has the Democrat party done to help equalize this country?? (silence...crickets chirping)

So, when it is all said and done...Mr Obama, "you're welcome" that us Conservatives fought in order to realize the beautiful dream of all men are created equal that has made your dream possible!

If Obama would have had a Conservative world view I would have voted for him in a heartbeat...I wanted a Rice/Palin ticket!!

WOW. Good point. And one I never would have thought of on my own! ;-) I was soooooo ready to throw up last night. And since then all you hear is about our "black president," as if that's what it's all about. MAKES ME SICK. I would have been SO THRILLED to vote for a black man... if it was one who had even a shred of moral decency about him! It's not about being BLACK, for goodness' sake! ~Bleagh~ When things get ugly, can we come move in with you in the middle of nowhere and live off of Libby's garden?! Ha!

Love you, Johnny!

Perhaps you didn't see the tears of joy because the media did not cover those occasions nearly as was covered in our presidential election. I know there were tears of joy in all the stated occasions.

Well Marcy that is funny, because I never saw Jesse Jackson, Oprah, or the NAACP cry or even endorse or give a news conference of how proud they were...nope, instead they bashed them and said they were traitors and Uncle Toms...so, just because a few citizens may have been happy, the overall movement was against these I spoke about because their worldview is in complete contrast to their agenda of race baiting. There is no evidence of the NAACP or Jesse or Al Sharpton saying anything favorable about these individuals...ever.

Cheers!
